It is no nightmare to install Linux! Some friends of mine, having no
idea, how computers work, installed it quite successful! Now they
are running X, emacs, LaTeX (sure with a little help from me), ...

So where's the problem with Linux? So many people say, it's too
difficult for beginners, that haven't seen a beginner working
with it!
