In fact it would be almost as suicidal as putting in functions to
other beta test windows to reduce performance when running on anything
other than MS-DOS?? That isn't as far as I know widely know, that took
a serious amount of reverse engineering to find. But it was there.

Of course I can't remember the name of the person who did the reverse
engineer, I can remember who told me and I could be lying. But there
you have it.

It wouldn't be suicidal remember this is the company that "forced"
computer manufacturers/suppliers to install thier DOS by charging them
for each machine regardless of what DOS was used.
