and wrote that it takes a 604 to show a marginal edge over the Pentium.

Here is the set of numbers for 601s that I found, Enjoy !
[Here's how the argument has gone so far :
	1. Dan Pop claims that Pentium 66 beats 601/66, pulls a couple
of examples from the specmark table to "prove" that.

	2. Since there are more specmarks than his examples, he then pulls
out the Pentium 90, and digresses on price. He also claims that
	only a 604 beats that.

	3. To be observed (I think its now going to be price).

I am not sure I get your numbers right. By now everyone knows a 90 pent.
can be overclocked to 100 with not too much problems. That give a 10%
increase in most specs I seen already. What would matter might be the
question of (If you like MACS or PC's and what is the real reason for the
system to start with.) Most consultants dont even bother to think systems
till they know what the end use is and who is using it.....

Please don't put words in my mouth. I have never claimed that a P66 beats
a 601/66. Have the minimal decency to quote my statements correctly.

Right. Show me a 601 which will beat a 133 MHz Pentium. I claimed that
only a 604 will beat it. I'd love to be proven wrong.
