While I agree that the money comment was kinda dumb, I'd like to point 
out that the "profesionals" are not the only users of SGI gear, a firend 
of mine (happens to be a colledge student) is writing his own program 
that will extract 3 dimensonal data form a 2- photograph, then display it 
wiht VR goggles.  He's had his share of problems on his 2 Processor RE2 
Onyx (the dang thing has 2GB of RAM...  GRR...)

Age has nothing to do with it. It's what you can do that counts.

This is great, a FTPed website, over a 14.4k modem, no 
less!! ( I think the FTP server can only support one 
client at a time... :)
