Hi,
I'm trying to transfer files via FTP from an Iris to a PC.
On the PC, I've successfully (I think) installed Novell Lan Workplace
for DOS (their TCP/IP package) such that the PC can ping itself.
On the Iris, I've run 
    ifconfig ec0 inet up
and the iris can ping itself (strangely, it could even before the ifconfig).
However, they can't ping each other.  When I try,
the Iris says 'host unreachable', and the 'collisions' field of netstat -i
increases.

Has anyone else gotten this combination to work?  Is there anything odd
I should know about setting up TCP/IP on Irises (I am famillair with Suns)?
