Good day! I am interested in references to articles or on-going work (or whatever) which touch upon the implementation of a buffered asynchronous communication layer with use of synchronous primitives. In particular, I am interested in the implementation of such an asynchronous layer on a transputer network. I don't want to use the CSN primitives of CSTools, which provides asynchronous communication primitives, because the communication setup time is much to large for the small messages I have to send. Summary: I like to receive any response or critique considering the asynchronous communication layer. Thanks in advance, Benno -- =========================================================================== Benno Overeinder Computer Systems Department University of Amsterdam e-mail: overeind@fwi.uva.nl The Netherlands
