Netware 386 RPRINTER doesn't run on Zenith PC's

Recently we upgraded our network operating system from Netware 2.15 to
Netware 3.0 (386).  We were excited to see that Novell included remote
printer server capabilities (RPRINTER) with the new operating system.
But, when we installed them, we found they didn't work on Zenith PC's. 

The RPRINTER program is suppose to allow you to access any workstation
printer as a network printer.  But, when the printer is attached to a
Zenith machine, we get about 5 characters of print every 2 or 3 minutes 
(kind of slow for a laser printer).

We have tried the software on real IBM PC's and other clones, and it work
as documented.  But we haven't been able to get it to work on the Zenith
machines (Z-159's mostly).

If anyone has been successfull in using RPRINTER on Zenith machines, or
has any ideas, please let me know...
