Beware of CorelDRAW! 4.0 EPS files. If you create b&w or grayscale EPSes with Corel's right-out-of-the-box EPS export filter, you will likely get a checksum error upon trying to import to PM 5.0. Corel has a new version of their EPS export filter available on CompuServe to solve that problem. If you don't have CompuServe access, you must call Corel. Also, even the new filter does not conform to the Adobe standard of writing color EPS files, so it is not guaranteed to color separate in PM 5.0. PM 5.0 will color separate CMYK TIF, color conforming EPS, and DCS files. If your EPS file has an RGB TIF header, it will not color separate. frank farm ----------------------- my opinions are my own and not necessarily those of corel corporation or anyone else
