Please excuse my ignorance in advance: I don't know anything about ICADD and SDA.

When you say "added to HTML 2.0" do you mean these attributes will be defined in the DTD 
for HTML 2.0?

Since all the attributes are #FIXED, can't they simply be "inferred" by SDA based 
filters?

Is there some compelling reason to include these attributes in other ("conforming") 
DTDs?

The only down side I can think of is that the attributes will turn up in parser output, 
so there's an impact on both processing and storage.  If the HTML standardization effort 
is worth doing, we should be thinking in terms of very large volumes of data.

Also, I wonder what criteria the IETF working group will (or should) use when 
considering these kinds of enhancements.

Were these kinds of issues discussed in your BOF meeting? Perhaps someone could 
summarize the discussion, or at least the agenda?

Clearly I'm missing something - I'm looking forward to illumination.
