Hi, When I use latex to create my .dvi file, I get these errors on the Table of Contents: Overfull \hbox (1.35829pt too wide) detected at line 6 \OT1/cmr/m/n/12 III.C. Any idea on how to make them go away? Also, some text in the TOC overwrite other text. Any ideas? And finally, not all of the lines in the generated postcript have the dots from the section title to the page number. Any clues there? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks! It seems that you are using roman numbering for your highest
sectioning level. This needs more space for the section number than the
normal arabic numbering. You will have to adjust the space reserved
for the number, for example for \subsection:
\makeatletter
\renewcommand{\l@subsection}{\@dottedtocline{2}{1.5em}{3.3em}}
\makeatother
The default is 2.3em instead of 3.3em. Things work diffently for
chapter entries. BTW, 1.5em is the indentation of the entry.

That is the reason for the "Overfull \hbox" warning. (-:

This is the default for the highest sectioning level.
Happy TeXing!
