I have heard that NSF is funding the development of a window-based,
distributed document handling and text processing system which
contains a WYSIWIG editor and has graphics handling and outputting
capabilities.  Supposedly the system is called the diamond system and
a lot of the work is being done at BBN.  I would be most grateful if
someone could write and tell me who to contact to find out more about
