I'd like to suggest that anyone who would like to discuss this topic post their messages to comp.distributed. I initially cross-posted because I did not know in advance where most (if any) interest would come from. However, now that it seems that there is a level of interest, it makes sense for a single newsgroup be chosen as a focal point (since the standard problems with cross-posting have begun to rear their ugly heads). So in summary, please choose comp.distributed as the newsgroup you use if you wish to add anything to this thread. Thanks, Mike N. Christoff "Michael N. (Actually, with comp.theory, the question is > whether this group is a single-process, Turing machine only group, or > whether posts about DC fall into the realm of acceptable messages).
