For what it's worth, I get the same problem on Univel SVR4.2 with
38MB mem and 64MB swap...   Interestingly enough, I also run out of
memory compiling xfishtank...  I'm waiting for a return call from our
support person at Univel to see what can be done.

To get libUnidraw.a to finish building I had to add '#include <osfcn.h>'
to include/OS/os.h  (I ifdef'd for MetroLink...)
