Hi,

I installed "Microsoft global IME 5.02" on my English Windows 98 OS
and my laptop WinME

My girlfriend is Japanese and will be migrating to come and live with me.
I want her to be able to send Email to her friends in Japanese characters,
so I installed this plug-in

Now I test it, wrote some Japanese and sent it to her (she has Japanese
Windows95 OS) and it appears that the Japanese characters are replaced by
garbage, thus making it impossible for her to read what I wrote in Japanese
characters ...

I think the plug-in works, because I can see the Japanese character, even if
I Email it to myself, or if I write something in Word or Exell ...

maybe something to do with UUencode or something in sending the Email ?

Please help me on this, I'm sure it must work, but I seem to have forgotten
something

Thanks very much !
