We have installed win 3.1 on Novell 3.11 in the following manner setup /a to copy all windows files onto the fileserver and uncompress them setup /n to create the user/machine specific win.ini etc. files and store them on the fileserver also, but in user specific directories. QUESTION: When a user logs on to a machine that they ordinarily do not (non-normal log on machine) Windows crashes, as the machine expects its (its normal log onner's) ini files but gets the visitor log onner's ini files. This crash cause makes sense, but is there some kind of workaround ? Is there an elegant solution where all files are still on the server ? And secondly, is there a good FTP site for NOVELL/Windows LAN stuff ? Thanks, ERIC SEAN WEBBER ewebber@access.digex.com
