I have bumped into a problem with a very simple windows program. The program only consists of a menu and dialog boxes within an 'rc' file. The menu command selects the dialog to run. The dialog's proc is using global vars to initialise itself. (Just experimenting with SDK calls). The program contains 4 dialog boxes containing about 4 edit controls each. The first two load and operate as expected. The last two do not - The problem I discovered is that when the last two are loaded that DS != SS. What did I do wrong? - no loaded DLL's - no custom controls - small memory model - and all the source code is in one module - except the .rc and .def. Can anyone pass me a few "did you forget to ... " type answers. I am using Borlands's C++ 3.0 compiler. and resorce toolkit. Dale Wood wood@Software.Mitel.COM
