WINDEBUG.DLL and Windows 3.1

I've just installed Windows 3.1 and tried to use the TurboDebugger for
Windows that comes with Borland's C++. It gets as far as trying to
actually load the executable and gives me a "Can't Load WINDEBUG.DLL"
message and then dies. I wasn't having any problems with Windows 3.0
and the DLL file is the same place it always was. Has anybody else seen
this problem? Trying to get through to Microsoft is nearly impossible,
which is to be expected this close to the 3.1 release.

There is a replacement WINDEBUG.DLL available that allows TDW to run
with Windows 3.1. You can get it from:

	Compuserve
	Genie
	Bix
	Borland BBS (408-439-9096)

There is a document available describing the problems and solutions.
You can get it from the above places (document number 868) as well
as through

	calling tech support
	calling our techfax number (800-822-4269)
		request document 868

On the online systems, the file is called ti868.zip.

Both the document and the zip file containing the new windebug.dll
will be available via anonymous ftp from various sites soon. They
have been uploaded, but not made publicly visible yet.
