CM.Has anybody successfully gotten windows into a 1024x768x256 mode? I can
.use Windows supplied VGA and SVGA drivers and ONE Tseng supplied VGA
  .(640x480x16) driver. What's going on?

CM.The zip files I tried using were TSG40627 (Win3.0 basically), W31ET4, and
.ET4_W31. I'm using Win3.1 so the TSG40627 file was useless. Actually,
.everything was useless. Either I would get divide overflow errors or I
.would get (during installation) that a VGAxx.DRV could not be loaded. I
.placed the DRV's in every conceivable location.

CM.I am trying to do this from a network - but so what? It should still work.
.What's the word on getting more colors and higher resolution with TSENG
  .ET4000 drivers?

I was able to download new drivers from the Microsoft BBS. You might
want to try that route. The BBS number is 206-637-6735. They have
quite a variety of different drivers available. Another route would be
to contact your SVGA board manufacturer and request updates. In my case
I was able to get free upgrades from Diamond Computers for my Stealth
VRAM board - no fuss.

Todd
