The latest scam (from MS) is that they have special OEM deals with some
direct sellers whereby ONLY the Concise Guides for MS-DOS and Windows are
shipped. I was an unlucky receipient of such a deal when I bought my 386DX
from the English office of Olympic Technology. The sales people were very
surprised that this single manual was not enough for me, but whatever I
wanted their agreement with MS was such that that was the only manual that
they supplied. It most be true unless there's a black market in Microcsoft
user manuals, hey there most be cos I need them. :-) Mind you with the
weight of MS C/C++ v7.0 and the 3.1 SDK manuals I probably dont have spare
floor-loading.

My Concise guides for MS-DOS and WIndows both have holograms on them.
