SB 16 to SB Live! Audio Quality question

Hi, I have a Sound Blaster 16, and was wondering if music (CD's and MP3's)
would sound any better on a SB Live! than on my SB 16, and if there were any
other pluses or reasons to upgrade (As I don't play many games really, and
only have 2 speakers). For those who are wondering, I dual boot Win 98/2000,
and have a pair of Altec Lansing ACS 48 speakers.
