Ok, here is my problem I bought an OEM version SB card, one of the LIVE! family. I just can't find which model i really have. I only know that it is not a 5.1 version. I bought it in Europe (in case there are any differencies between european and american version), my vendor called it Player 1024, it has output (yellow jack) for digital speakers (I use analog 4.1 FPS1000 speakers). The main problem is that in all articles i read about Live cards there was said that player 1024 has a CD SPDIF input on board, but in that place of this I've got no connector (can i just solder there two pins and connect it with digital output on my DVD drive? - my windows mixer offered me some SPDIF in - and can I use it together with second SPDIF input - to connect with my CD burner digital output, which is located on 40-pin AUD_EXT connector (actually there are two SPDIF input on AUD_EXT, but one of them is assigned only for Live!drive) There is also some number CT 4830 on my card and it has 40-pin AUD_EXT not that 12-pin SPDIF_EXT. Someone told me PLAYER 1024 has no digital cd input but on Soundblaster website there is some manual for this card and it reads there is some S/PDIF In on it. When select an audio device in Audio HQ it offers me something called SB Live! [7000] and when I windows open device manager there is a SB Live! Value card. ANYBODY KNOWS WHICH CARD I HAVE!?!?!!? --- Odchoz zprva neobsahuje viry - dle SN 14 5695. Zkontrolovno antivirovm systmem AVG (http://www.grisoft.cz).
