Begin by uninstalling the WebCam Software.
1. Go to Start-Find-Files and Folders
2. Type webc*.* in the name box and WebCam in the containing text
box.
3. Delete all items listed and restart the system.
4. Attach the camera. Windows 2000 should auto-detect the
camera.
5. When the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box appears, click
the Next button.
6. Select the "Search for a suitable driver for my device
(recommended)" option, and then click the Next button.
7. Select the "Specify a location" check box. Browse to the
folder where the driver is saved and select it.
8. Windows 2000 should detect that the driver is not digitally
signed.
The device name "Video Blaster WebCam Go (WDM)" appears in the dialog
box.
9. Ignore the warning and click the Yes button to continue the
installation.
10. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the rest of
the driver installation.
11. When the "Light Frequency Selection" dialog box appears, click
the YES button and click the option button that represents your
power supply frequency if you use fluorescent lighting.
