I have a Modem Blaster Flash 56 PCI DI5630 that I have been trying to install the V.90 drivers for. Windows98 recognizes it as a Flash56 PCI DI5630 Winmodem. If I update the drivers replacing them with the v.90 drivers, it changes the comm port and I can't get the modem to responde in the Modem Diagnostics. I've tried going into Device Manager and changing the IRQ setting for the comm port, but I still can't get the modem to respond to the diagnostics. I've tried installing additional comm ports, then installing the modem and putting it on one of the installed comm ports... no luck. I would REALLY like to run this as a v.90 modem. If anyone has any suggestions or... dare I say it... a solution to how to install it as a v.90 modem, I would be forever grateful. I'll check back here for replies, or please feel free to email me at rburcky@wwwebservice.net. Thanks!
