I have just built a system as follows

KT7-no raid m/b   via 4in1 4.27 drivers
AMD 800 ATHLON
192 MB crucial pc100 mem
abit geforce2 mx video card  nividia 6.31 driver
pci modem pci slot2
creative pci512 sound card pci slot6
20 gig western digital hard drive ide1 master
36 speed cdrom ide 1 slave
yamaha 8 4 24 cdrw ide 2 master

            my problem is with the gameport, I have a gravis game pad pro
installed with the software provided, when i go into control panel, game
controller, I can see the game pad and it says that it is connected but when
I go to properties the game pad is not seen,hence I can not play any games.
The same thing happens with the gravis blackhawk joystick I have, but both
work fine in my old pentium 266 machine I have
