Don, I have the opposite problem to you, I have my CDR connected into the
internal SPDIF connection on my SBLive card working OK, but I can't get an
output signal from the optical output into my minidisk recorder. The only
thing I can think of (apart from your CDR not supporting digital) is - have
you enabled the input for digital CD connection in the mixer, mine was
disabled by default and didn't work until I enabled it.
Could you perhaps suggest a solution to my problem, I read somewhere about
having to set the output to digital rather than analogue but I don't know
how to do this. Any suggestions welcome,
