I am experiencing the same problem too. First Time I tried to get an optical
signal into my MD Recorder, no signal was present.
I tested the MD with another source and it was OK.
I tested several "IN/OUT" configurations on the Mixer without success.
Then I had the idea to go to "Creative Restore Defaults" which is an option
in the Creative Progeam Group.
I restarted the PC and it worked !!!!!! I had the optical signal on my MD
recorder.

Next day, I tried again to record a Minidisc.... having the same problem....
no optical signal.
I did again the "Creative Restore Defaults" but withouth success.

I dont really know what is the problem, maybe a Big Bug from Creative.

I'm using Windows ME on a Compaq EX 800 machine.

Any Hint would be useful.

Thanks
