The one dot setting is NOT digital mode on this stick! The one dot / two dot setting is simply for old analog Thrustmaster FCS or CH Flightstick Pro modes. When using the MS Sidewinder software and drivers then it is in digital mode. No user settings are needed. But everybody (including myself) has run across this now infamous " Not Detected" problem and Microsoft is no help at all! The ONLY reliable way to get the old 3D Pro to work nowdays is to tell Windows that you have a generic 4-button stick with throttle and run it in analog mode. The allegedly "fixed" drivers for it they released almost two years ago did nothing for it. Obviously Microsoft gave up on it and couldn't get the digital mode to work on current systems anymore. They COULD completely re-write the driver for it, but for a well outdated stick, they clearly don't feel the need to do so (lazy bastards!). -Nogib GP wrote: > Probably you need the latest software updates from Microsoft to get > Sidewinder 3D Pro connect.
