ANNIHILATOR PRO,ANY IDEAS FOR THIS PROBLEM?

Does anyone else have a ANNIHILATOR PRO?If so haas anyone had any problems
witht the software that came with the card?In particular  the NEED FOR SPPED
HIGH STAKES,it runs like shit on my comp and cant figure out why.When i go
into the 3D device setup it doesnt list the annihilator,only software
renderer and direct 3d device 1.When i chose the 3d device 1 it gives me a
message saying-WARNING-you have selected a Direct 3D video card that is not
supported by this game.this may cause unpredictable PC behaviour while
trying to rin the game.Anyone have any ideas?Overall i like the card but
this is a real pain in the ass.

my system is:
ASUS P3BF MPBP
P3 550
256 meg ram
mitsumi 48x cdrom
hp 9210i SCSI CDRW
zip 100
SOUND BLASTER LIVE VALUE
A modem that i have no idea who makes it,but it's a PCI modem.
I have the latest driver from creative and that didnt help so any ideas
would be great.
