The following is a nice, blunt, rude reply to a question that could have
been easily answered via email. I am upset at this kind of treatment,
especially seeing as I cannot afford to call long distance and be put on
hold for 15 minutes waiting for someone to answer.

Subject:  DI 3635 question


I am emailing you for some more specific information on the 3635 modem. I
have had the modem for a year now and it functions fine, except I need to
know what chipset the modem is. Is it Lucent, Rockwell, or USR?
I need to know this because I need to use the correct modem init string to
disable certain functions on the modem. You have no documentation in either
the manuals or your techsupport pages that cover this. Can you please email
me the information I requested?
