Hi,

  I had a similar problem to yours.  I actually thought that
my AWE32 PnP was on the way out.  I had the rev 14 drivers
installed over the drivers that came with my AWE.  Portions
of my soundfont memory ( sometimes ALL 8 MB's, sometimes 4 MB )
would just disappear.  Plus the sound on MP3's and Quicktime
movies was out of sync.  Following the instructions Chris 
posted here, I now have a fully working AWE 32!  Now, just
to find cheap 16 MB 30 pin simms. 8^)
