Chris,

I was having the exact same problem under NT, until I saw this post. The
Creative NT software copies AWEMAN.DLL and AWEMAN32.DLL into the \WINNT
directory and NOT \WINNT\system32 where they should be.

Even though you are not tech support, I appreciate what you've done for this
guy (even though he may not) and for the millions of Creative's customers.
You're one of VERY few execs who will go the extra light year to make sure
we're happy with what we've got! Diamond Multimedia had better have a lotta
bank to snag you, 'cause you're worth every cent, AND they SORELY NEED more
people like you.

As for these forums being used for tech support, I wholeheartedly suggest
that they should be. Intel's forums are not perfect, but an infinitely more
pleasureable resource than their toll line, and even their web support site
(which itself links to the forums). Anyone who lives outside of Stillwater,
OK doesn't have the money to waste to get, at best, mediocre phone support!
