I am in the process of building a mini-studio, and wanted to know which software package should I use. Can any of these be used to master a final product? I also want to know if anyone can recommend a nice Keyboard/Workstation. I always heard the Ensoniq ASR10 is one hot item but I also know it is a discontinued item. I need to make a decision between Cubase VST and Cakewalk Pro, I guess this would come down to a battle of features and ease of use, and personal preference. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am also looking at the Aardvark Pro Studio card with Break out box, a little pricey but BooCoo features . . . any thoughts check out this website http://www.sbfilmaudio.com/audioie.html Keep in mind I am a newbie at this but I am really eager to learn and bust my A** to build my studio and put out a decent recording demo, I wanna thank everyone in advance for your help.
