I want to thank Kim for her work in our undergraduate office these past four years during which time a number of changes were made to the program in an effort to be more visible and supportive to our students beyond the classroom. Steve Halperin has been concerned about the drop in UG student numbers throughout the college and it will be one of Kim's responsibilities to turn that trend around. Please join me in wishing her success in her new position. The department will be recruiting to fill a second Academic Advisor position and a search committee is being formed with Prof Alan Sussman being its chair.
