Yes, I know this is a simple question. However, our decstations were donated to us and I have neither ULTRIX manuals nor O'Reilly TCPIP. I have manually configured my Decstation 5000 running ULTRIX 4.3 to ping hosts on campus through ifconfig. My question is how to make these changes permanent (so that it will remain on boot up) and how to rig the routing tables so that the machine can ping other machines off campus. The IP address of this machine is 192.207.173.248 and the router is 192.207.173.7. Thank you in advance for your help. Justin Young 2212 Heck Young Rd.
