-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Dear Miso, I have been using MacPGP 2.6.ui and also use pgp -ka "Filename " "pubring.pgp" I think it probably adds up to mailrouters that muck around with 8-bit characters. THe TCP/IP Printer problem is solved here is my Summary. I am off on vacation for a month so my mail will probably be slow for a while, but I am interested in PGP-Experiences. There seems to be some politics behind it all that I don't understand. Do you know or understand what its about and are there any other signature programs or encryptions software that compete with PGP? Thanks again especially for the help on TCP/IP. Cheers, Tom ***************************************************** Thank you all, I have gotten many many answers back, all helpful. The count is at 20 and rising you can stop answering now. Most popular answer was a HP Laserjet 4m+ with an optional network card (JetDirect) Following closely were any number of HP Laserjets with the optional network card. DEC also has several printer or printservers available (printserver 17 & printserver 20, DEClaser 3500 ...) Bill Schmidt seems to have the inexpensive answer with an EMULEX printbox for 500 US$. One answer which may even be less expensive though I am not sure I understand it completele comes from eisenman@beta.tricity.wsu.edu All thats needed is an ethernet card for the printer and a sever capable of being the bootdevice for same. (I'm not sure whether this refers to a printserver or our Ultrix box) - From other sources come this information >the apple LW600 does. And does LPD too! text and postscript. > Apple protocols, 600dpi. Again thanks to everyone who answered Danke auch an die deutschsprachige Antworte.
