Past experience has told me that just about any DEC monitor will work with any other one, as long as the monochrome signal is sent to the green/sync of the color monitor. Problem right now--I have a decstation 5000/240 with a VR319 monitor which is going bad. I have 3 other VR262 monitors (standard 19" B/W monitor from a Vaxstation) that I could put on it but they don't seem to recognize the signal. Ditto with a VRC-16 color monitor that is handy. What's the problem...a different scan frequency or what? Steve Timm
