I've now set up a DECstation 2100 as an X terminal with :0 "/usr/bin/Xws -logo -indirect lservitp" none on secure in /etc/ttys. It's connected to a color monitor (BNC cable). When booting up, the console text is displayed in green, changing to white later (when going multi user?). The X server is black and white though. Any app that is started on a remote machine gets its X output dithered to b/w. How can I change that? Also, what's a simple way to configure the X server to use the German keyboard's layout? -- Georg Schwarz schwarz@physik.tu-berlin.de Institut fr Theoretische Physik Tel. +49 30 314-24254, FAX -21130 Technische Universitt Berlin http://home.pages.de/~schwarz/ Sekr.
