I have a 4.3 box that has two interfeaces, qe0 and ne0 (it is a 5500). Now this machine has not been touched in years and I didn't set it up. My network guy set up a router to broadcast 209.69.218.127/25 netmask 255.255.255.128 and for whatever reason, the ultrix box decided (as seen by the network guy's router) to broadcast itself as the entire class c of 209.69.218.0/24, which is, of course, completely wrong. it shouldn't be broadcasting anything to do with this address. How can I track down what is going on? I've done netstat's but I'm not certin in /etc what to look for for this promiscuous routing. thanks beckers Becki Kain beckers@furph.com -- furph, Inc.
