I have read the Ultrix FAQ, about running a 3100 without the monitor, I
have to short pins 2 and 4. Ok, great, now for my question. Once the
machine is setup not to display it's video to the monitor, how do I
output it to the serial port, then where do I get a cable to lug into the
RJ-45ish plug into a normal 9 pin serial cable? We have many headless
UNIX machnies, and this DEC's monitor is not with the machine. So, if we
use it, it has to be via a serial connection until it's on the network and
we can telnet into it. Thanks for your help.
