I for one would be glad to speculate on their motivation based on
their publicity.  CVF and FoF say, among other things, that there
are these really sick people out there that want to harm your
children.  Though you've probably never met any of these people,
they are a threat to your family, and indeed a major cause of the
deterioration of your families.  These people are the ones you need
to blame for your problems, and you should fight to limit their
rights and ability to live freely at every possible opportunity.
Please send money to us, and help us stomp out these people.

Hmm. I don't think I'm going to get too worked up about calling the
truly horrifying products of these groups (ie., their propaganda films)
hate motivated.  They could be motivated by money and power.  They
may consider us to be completely benign, but are looking for any
enemy that they can demonize to rally their troups.  Regardless, I
just don't care about giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Sorry this pushed your button enough to "drag you into" the debate, but
you might want to consider what it would be like to be on the receiving
end of such an attack.
