I did Load System X-Server and saved an Incremental World after
(Herald now also says "X Server 424.0"). Whenever I do Select-<Square>
and then Start Server, I get a message

[10:40:58 Process X Server got an error
Select X Server Background Stream by typing Function-0-S.]

Sometimes the above notification also says that it tried to type-out
    but couldn't (I can't reproduce that). So I do Function-0-S and a
window labeled X Server Background Stream at the bottom is raised and
    displaying:

Trap: The function X-SERVER:|bzero| is undefined.

      X-SERVER:|CreateColormap|

	 Arg 1 (CTS:V1): #<ARRAY 191 simple 401130265>

	 Arg 0 (CTS:V8): 0
s-A, <RESUME>: Supply a value to use this time as the definition of X-SERVER:|bzero|
s-B, s-sh-C: Supply a value to store permanently as the definition of X-SERVER:|bzero|
      s-C: Retry the CALL-INDIRECT instruction
      s-D, <ABORT>: Terminate C execution of main
      s-E: Exit process X Server
      ->

I tried Load System X Documentation and can't find anything about the
    X Server Background Stream.

I guess this isn't *that* important. I'm already really happy that
I've got everything else working and I'm really enjoying the
system. But, it's worth a shot. Using X apps like gnus in Emacs on the
Linux screen or the Genera X client itself via the Symbolic's keyboard
    would be cool....

    Thanks for pointers,
    Christopher

Do you have the "c-runtime" system or the "C" development system loaded?
It sounds like this is a library routine that isn't somehow being resolved
correctly.
