A few days ago, I did extra ethernet interface setting as Rainer
    described(Thanks! Rainer).

My original intention is: setting two ethernet interfaces for
Genera(MacIvory). (Rainer's recipe was one for Mac, and the other for
    MacIvory)

The MacIvory control panel only accept one interface. To be a gateway
machine, the MacIvory have to have two interfaces(am I wrong?)

Is there any method giving two network interfaces to MacIvory?

I think this would require a small change to the Macintosh life support code,
i.e. not with the software that you currently have.

Having multiple interfaces and being a gateway works for standalone Genera workstations.

It also works for a MacIvory if one of the interfaces is serial (using SLIP).
