My 3640 monitor just started making a whining sound like a bearing in a fan is about to self destruct. Its coming from the cpu (local q makes it quiet) and the character of the noise changes after I cause the machine to beep. Powercycling did nothing so I suspect some hardware is going bad. Anyone have pointers to which board might be the culprit? thanks Keith
