I;m not much of a Unix hacker but I use NFS all the time so that my Symbolics can access Unix boxes with NFS. I do know that the Unix side must be told the the Symbolics host (and me) are both trusted and okay dokay. There are some obscene files on the Unix host that carry this info. Since I didn't see you mention them in your message, I thought I'd mention this. For the Unix host namespace object you need the service triple: Service: FILE UDP NFS For the user namespace object you need the following User Property: RPC-UID 123 User Property: RPC-GID 45 where 123 and 45 are the right one's for you.
