Hi! I'm looking for a copy of the Disktools tape for Symbolics machines,
that makes it possible for me to use a non-Symbokics disk drive on my 3650.

Symbolics will make available all the disk tools s/w for 36xx machines on its ftp site.
I estimate that it will be several more weeks before the site is operational. In the
mean time I will forward your request to Doug Evans in chattsworth & he can make you a
distribution cart tape with the s/w you need.
You will need a working 36xx to run the software. The process of creating a bootable
36xx disk from scratch proceeds much more quickly if you can plug the blank disk on to
the running machine. you can restore just the fep directory from the ifs tape, then boot
lisp to copy worlds.
