This is a test (and notification) of a new mailing mechanism I have in place for the SLUG mailing list. The purpose of this mechanism is to stop the junk mail we've been getting. The mechanism searches the body of the text for words that look like they have something to do with the SLUG mailing list. It should pretty much pass everything that we normally see. (However, it might not pass a snide remark that has nothing to do with Lisp!) If you are unsure, just include the word LISP in your text and it should work. Please bear with me if there are any problems. Also, if you think some mail didn't get through the filter, send SLUG-REQUEST@AI.SRI.COM a message and I'll see what happened. -------
