Subj: How do I DW:Format-Graph-From-Root to display sexpressing trees?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
sorry the message is so big; but, I don't want a missunderstanding.
I am trying to use DW:Format-Graph-From-Node in Generia 8.1.1 to create a
tree-diagram of an sexpression such as '(* 3 (/ 3 4) 5) and want this tree
displayed. (To turn an sexp into a tree diagram.):
------
| * |
------
/|\
/ | \
/ | \
/ | \
----- ----- -----
| 3 | | / | | 5 |
----- ----- -----
/\
/ \
/ \
/ \
----- ------
| 3 | | 5 |
----- ------
But, instead I Get something like:
-----------------
|(* 3 (/ 3 5) 5|
-----------------
/ | \
/ | \
/ | \
----- --------- -----
| * | |(/ 3 5)| | 5 |
----- --------- -----
/ | \
/ | \
/ | \
----- ----- -----
| / | | 3 | | 5 |
----- ----- -----
Can you help me?
Thanks for the time it takes you.
I am intresting in learning graphics programing for Generia 8.1.1,
don't have CLIM and wonder if their are books and programming
graphics in Zetalisp or Dynamic Windows on the Lisp machine.
Is their a command for producing a histogram chart for the Lisp
Machine?
Thank You for any help you can offer.
