You've read the LA police press release. Now read the other side of the story.

By the way, since when do police issue press releases on this kind of
thing? Aren't they supposed to stay neutral and "tell it to the judge?
Oh, I forgot. The charges were all dropped by the judge so the police
decided to use the court of public opinion instead. Very professional.
