	That already happened before, once in New York and several
times in DC. for various reasons. Cabbies tried it in NY too. Results
of the NY protest? Some impounded trucks and arrests. Truckers have a
lot more to lose than bicyclists do so once a few trucks were towed,
and a few arrests were made, the thing mostly broke up. Of course the
charges were later dropped once the roads were clear and protests
over.
	I doubt that you will see a gasoline tax revolt here any time
soon. Americans don't take abuse any better than Europeans do but most
Americans don't even know what percentage of gasoline cost is tax. The
tax is not allowed to be posted on gas pumps, at least in NY, probably
because the gummint doesn't want us to get upset with them. Ignorance
is bliss.
	FYI,  It is about 22% in the U.S. and 80% in the UK. -AP
