Wurzburg Haus is about the best food. Old Europe has the most atmsophere and best wine selection. Cafe Berlin is fun to eat outside. Cafe Mozart is acceptable, and has good shopping in the front food store. Alpenhaus Cafe in Herndon/(Reston?) is new, run by the former owners of Cafe Splendide on Dupont Circle (defunct). I've eaten there twice this week, and it's promising. Going there for dinner tonight. Anyone remember the name of the highly-recommended German inn out in the Virginia countryside somewhere? -- Larry
